1. Change in bowel or bladder habits consistently for a duration of 2-3 months.
2. A sore that does not heal, changes colour, ulcerates or bleeds.
3. Unusual bleeding or discharge from any opening of the body.
4. Unusual bleeding from the nose, deafness/muffled hearing or ringing sound in the ear.
5. An unexplained lump or swelling that does not go away or has progressively enlarged which may or may not be associated with pain.
6. Indigestion or difficulty in swallowing.
7. Persistent pain or discomfort in the abdomen.
8. Hoarseness of voice or nagging cough >2 weeks - especially non-smoker. Smokers' cough that becomes intense.
9. Obvious change in size or texture in a skin spot, wart or mole.
10.Unexplained tiredness and /or weight loss of 10% or more within a period of 3-6 months.

It is believed that 2/3 of all cancers can be prevented by maintaining a healthy lifestyle. For cancers that can be detected early, there is over an 80% chance of surviving the cancer. Cancer detected early can save lives.
A Healthy Lifestyle: You can lower your risk for cancer by choosing a healthy lifestyle. This means:-
* Don't smoke
* Be active everyday
* Keep to a healthy weight
* Eat plenty of vegetables, fruit and cereals
* Eat food low in fat, sugar and salt
* Keep your alcohol intake low
* Be sun aware
